It’s Friday! Time to celebrate the end of the week with a workout and some healthy eating. Here are some tips to help you stay on track over the weekend.
- Workout: Get your weekend off to a fab start try a quick workout on Friday afternoon/early evening. Even a 30-minute walk or jog will make a difference. If you’re short on time, try a HIIT workout or some bodyweight exercises (there are some great short workouts on my YouTube channel). https://youtube.com/@JayneWettonFitness2000
- Plan your workouts. If you don’t have a plan, it’s much more likely that you’ll skip your workouts altogether. So take a few minutes on Friday to plan out what activities, walks or workouts you’re going to do over the weekend.
- Eat healthy: Make sure to pack healthy snacks and meals for the weekend. This will help you avoid unhealthy choices when you’re out and about. Some healthy snack ideas include fruits, vegetables, nuts, and yogurt. For meals, try grilling fish or chicken, making a salad, or cooking brown rice or quinoa.
- Stay hydrated: It’s important to stay hydrated, especially if you’re planning a glass of wine or two 😉
- Get enough sleep: Sleep is essential for mental and physical healthy. Try to avoid exceptionally late nights and midday wake ups. You’ll feel fatigued and less likely to move enough and more likely to make poor food choices.
I hope these tips help you stay on track over the weekend. Have a great one!
